Qualitative feedback showed a split of opinions on respondents' expectations of study set-up.
Some feedback cited more realistic expectations of the process, due to improved visibility of national guidance.
However, there is continued variability in processes. The varying level of expertise in people working in set-up roles means that there can be inconsistencies in experience.
