    To investigate the patterns represented across the following four factors; predisposing, precipitating, perpetuating, and protective, focussing on biological, psychological and social aspects in adult males who have committed parricide of their biological parents. Complete thematic analysis using secondary data collected on individuals who have committed parricide and sentenced to either a prison sentence or hospital order. Utilising the 5PS model to identify themes that may help services predict risk and intervene to prevent the offence. Furthermore, to inform treatment needs and protective factors development. Therefore, increasing practitioners and professionals knowledge on individuals who commit this offence, due to the limited literature currently available.
