  Watch your steps is a University of Manchester led project in collaboration with Google to co-design a system for collecting standardised daily patient-generated health data (PGHD) across a range of long-term conditions. The study will explore the feasibility and acceptability to patients of collecting PGHD using a smartwatch.

  The data collected includes sensor and symptom data captured via a smartwatch and qualitative data capture through interviews and questionnaires in order to:
  (i) Gauge participants’ views on collecting health related data in this way.
  (ii) Carry out a preliminary analysis on the smartwatch data to compare within and across diseases and consider the correlations between sensor data and longitudinal symptoms.
  The study will be conducted over a twelve month period and recruit approximately 60 participants.

  This is not an intervention study, participant’s data will not be monitor during the study nor will participants receive any sort of treatment.
