Research summary
The aim of this study is to explore the potential of vocal biomarkers to assist in or improve the detection of health conditions in people with Cystic Fibrosis. The emphasis is on identifying onset and progression of pulmonary exacerbations.
Using their smartphone, participants submit daily voice samples that will be analyzed for markers of various health conditions using labeled training data (physiological, activity and self-reported data) that is also collected on a daily basis. The Sonde voice sample collection and other home monitoring recordings will happen sequentially.
