Research summary
We are trying to understand patient’s perception of virtual chaperone i.e video and audio recording during a consultation. This can be a cost-effective alternative to the physical presence of a chaperone (another healthcare professional who protects patients’ and doctors’ safety). The study will take place in various private clinics of an orthopaedic surgeon Mr George Ampat over the course of 1 year. The study will entail 60 adult patients who have provided written consent. Subsequently, the cohort will be randomly allocated into two groups of 30 patients with the following characteristics:
1. a video recording
2. an audio recordingREC name
