Research summary
The study will collect feedback from 100 social care employers who are voluntarily taking part in a 12 month pilot of a
ValueBased
Recruitment Toolkit. A number of surveys (telephone and online)
and one workshop will be conducted to
gain feedback on the toolkits process, take up, perceived value and impact on organisational performance and service
quality. Two pilot participants are local authority officers who are coordinating
the pilot with individual employers and
personal assistants. In this instance responses to the surveys will be coordinated
by the local authorities. The
Evaluator does not hold any data nor will she be directly approaching individual employers, personal assistants or
service users for the purpose of this research, all research activity will be directly with employers in the social care
sector. Findings from the research will be published by the National Skills Academy after the pilot period has ended,
(pilot closes July 2014)
