Research summary
This study is looking at the level of impairments in instrumental activities of daily living, such as finance management or shopping, in people with mild dementia, and how performance deficits are related to carer stress and quality of life and to person with dementia quality of life. As part of this, the aim of this study is to validate a newly developed questionnaire to receive a large data set on these impairments in people with early dementia. This questionnaire is being given or send to carers of people with mild dementia, who can then return the completed questionnaire in a free return envelope.
