Research summary
Our principal research objective is to obtain samples already collected by biobanks, academic collaborators or commercial sources to demonstrate expression of our novel targets in primary and metastatic cancer samples across different cancer indications eg. lung, melanoma, oesophageal, thyroid, gynaecological and head and neck cancers. We will use techniques such as mass spec, RNA seq and tissue/cell staining to examine target expression. Where available, matched FFPE tissue or PBMCs will be used for tissue/cell staining, T cell isolation and HLA-typing. We are not planning on taking these samples from patients ourselves but will use sources that already have approval to collect tissue and their associated clinical information.
