Research summary
This research is a sub-study of an evaluation of a transformation programme of mental health services being undertaken by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The overall aim of this research sub-study is to examine the ’theory of change’ underpinning the Single Point of Access Model, including the process for initial assessment of need and subsequent formulation of a care plan; how this is understood and carried out by staff; and experienced by service users and a close relative/friend.
