Research summary
This study aims to examine the relationship between insecure attachment and paranoia, and determine whether emotion regulation mediates this relationship. The study will use a cross-sectional design, with attachment style as the independent variable, paranoia as the dependent variable, and emotion regulation as the predicted mediator. We will administer quantitative self-report measures of these variables at one time point. The study will recruit participants experiencing paranoia from clinical NHS settings.
