Research summary
Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) is the most common inherited kidney disease and is characterised by slowly progressive cyst development and growth leading to kidney failure which occurs in 50% by the sixth decade. The decline in kidney function which signifies disease progression is very variable and methods of predicting this involves clinical and imaging measures. The aim of this study is to compare predictors of disease progression with real clinical outcomes.
