Research summary
The aim of this research is to make a significant reduction in the number of women in the UK who are given no reasons for their miscarriages. In order to achieve this, we will collect medical history details, biological samples and follow-up outcome data on all patients that give their informed consent to take part. A programme of research will then be undertaken that will aim to identify predictive markers of miscarriage and develop accurate diagnostic tests, thus enabling targeted treatment for individual patients in the future.
