Research summary
Observational study in immune-mediated inflammatory and chronic kidney diseases aiming to explore disease classification and mechanism through molecular phenotyping, exploring the underlying cellular mechanisms.
Aims:
a) Molecular phenotyping of patients and samples from patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and/or immune-mediated inflammatory disease (IMID).b) To investigate differences in genomic traits from people with immune mediated and inflammatory disease and ‘healthy’ individuals. We wish to (a) characterize differences present and (b) infer how those changes contribute to susceptibility, activity or progression of each, their response to or adverse effects from administered treatment.
