Data collection arrangements
Stem cell lines and associated data will be collected and stored in the REPROCELL Europe Ltd Stem Cell Bank, based within the REPROCELL Europe premises located in The West of Scotland Science Park, Glasgow.
All donors to the bank are ethically approached and consented, and donations collected via dedicated tissue collection sites throughout the UK.
Research programme
The REPROCELL Stem Cell Bank will support a large research community both within the academic and pharmaceutical sectors. The primary research aim is to establish a bank of stem cell lines to investigate the biological mechanisms, efficacy and safety of new drugs and treatments. As such, the main research programmes will include (but are not limited to) disease modelling and mechanism studies, gene editing, drug development and discovery, early stage cellular therapy studies, toxicology screening and stem cell technology development.
