  • Research summary

In the genetics service we identify patients who are at risk of developing cancer due to an inherited genetic pathogenic variant. We offer regular screening to these patients, in the form of colonoscopies. Our research study aims to explore what impact regular (usually 2-yearly) cancer screening has on this patient group. We hope that understanding how patients feel about their screening will help us to provide a better service and improve compliance.
