  This is a qualitative study involving interviewing 20 subjects who have been booked to have an MRI scan as a result of findings in a spinal assessment clinic. The interviews will be semi structured around the patient journey of being told that they need have a scan ordered through to receiving their results. The findings of this study would highlight any common themes which would be explored and this will be feed back to the multi disciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, radiographers, consultant and patients.
