Research summary
Patients who have completed cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation within the past 6 months will be invited to participate in this research study. Participants will undergo a series of tests which will be repeated after 12 weeks of dance classes. These tests will assess both physical and psychological parameters to assess the impact of participation in dance classes. There is research to show the benefit of dance in elderly populations and we plan to study the impact of dance in these clinical groups.
