Research summary
This is a qualitative study using interpretative phenomenological analysis to investigate the subjective experience of those who have psychogenic non epileptic seizures (PNES). A review of the literature highlights this as a gap in the current knowledge. It is hoped that through investigation of the subjective experience, themes may emerge which will be clinically relevant in terms of building relationships with this population and add to the knowledge base in terms of their experience and life.
