Data collection arrangements
The data that shall be reported by participating centres across Europe shall be stored in a secure server in the University of Glasgow. These data will only be able to be linked to the reported patient through a secure identification system which is only known by the clinician who looks after the patient.
Research programme
EuRRECa (European Registries for Rare Endocrine Conditions) which is funded by the European Union’s Health Programme is aimed at maximising the opportunity for all patients, health care professionals and researchers to participate and use high-quality, patient-centred registries for rare endocrine conditions covered within the European Reference Network on Rare Endocrine Conditions (Endo-ERN). The project, launched in February 2018, will achieve developing a new core endocrine registry that collects a core dataset that also includes objective markers of clinical outcome. Further details of the project can be obtained through its website www.eurreca.net as well as its twitter page @eurreca.
