• Data collection arrangements

  Clinicians from around Europe will enrol patients in the European Bronchiectasis Registry. The data will include details of their diagnosis, co-morbid illness, microbiology and treatments. The data will be used to improve the management of bronchiectasis and to support the development of new treatments.
  Data collection will be prospective and will include annual follow-up for the duration of the study. Data will be entered using a secure web-based system at www.bronchiectasis.eu

• Research programme

  The registry is a collaboration between EMBARC (the European Multicentre Bronchiectasis Audit and Research Collaboration) and the European Respiratory Society. This registry is central to raising awareness of bronchiectasis and to improving the management of the disease around Europe.
