Research summary
The overall aim of the study is to explore and examine the acceptability and value of sharing real-time otoendoscopy images as part of outpatient ENT consultations
It is hoped this will improve communicationa dn understanding within the ENT clinic for parents and patients
This study will use an exploratory, mixed methods design to generate data with children 4-16 years and/or their parents. This design has been selected to ensure we collect a range of qualitative and quantitative data to allow an in-depth exploration of the focus of interest.
The setting for this study will be the ENT clinic at Alder Hey Children’s NHSFT, Liverpool.
Recruitment of children/ parents will occur at a routine clinic visit and recruitment will continue until we have recruited 25-35 children/young people and/or their parentsREC name
