Research summary
Samples requiring prednisolone analysis are currently sent away for testing. The demand for this test has increased recently and therefore an in-house method would reduce Trust costs and decrease turnaround times for patients, improving their care. The resources required to perform this analysis are already available. This project would focus on developing and validating an assay to be routinely used in the Endocrine lab.
