  • Research summary

Children with Cystic Fibrosis require multiple daily treatments and often find it difficult to remember to take them. Nebulised treatments are important to treat the lungs of these patients, but studies have shown adherence rates to these nebulisers are low.
In this study we will send daily text messages to children and their parents to remind them to take their nebulised medication. We will compare the adherence rates electronically recorded on their nebulisers when they are receiving texts to those before the study started.
