Research summary
The SaeboGlove is a new rehabilitation aid for people with arm weakness. It is worn on the weak hand of a patient with weakness after stroke. It assists the hand opening, which is crucial for people to grasp, lift and release objects. It can improve function by doing this but may also help people with severe weakness take part in therapy sessions. This glove is already marketed and is being used in some NHS sites. We want to assess how it may be used in NHS practice, whether it will help therapists and develop an implementation plan.
