Research summary
This study will involve questionnaires distributed to patients with cancer living at home. The questionnaire will be distributed by community palliative nurses employed by Northern Ireland Hospice and Day Hospice staff at three participating hospices in four locations throughout Northern Ireland, including: Southern Area Hospice (Newry and Dungannon), Foyle Hospice and Northern Ireland Hospice.
The aim of the study is to explore the beliefs and concerns about medications held by patients with advanced cancer living at home and to investigate medication adherence and factors associated with medication adherence in patients with advanced cancer living at home.
