Research summary
The purpose of this interview study is to investigate the experience of ACT+ by different patient and practitioner participants to understand how we can optimise the ACT+ intervention and its delivery in the NHS (assuming the intervention is shown to be successful in the wider SURECAN trial). In particular, we will focus on comparing our interview-based findings from those trial participants who improved and from those who failed to improve, or worsened, in terms of quality of life following ACT+ treatment (Part A). We will also capture the experience of therapists who delivered the ACT+ intervention (Part B).
