Research summary
The Study of Participant Experience of Alzheimer’s disease Research (SPEAR) will examine experience and expectations of research participants who are currently involved in intensive Alzheimer’s disease prevention research. The findings will be used for improving study experience, to inform future approaches to recruitment and retention in Alzheimer’s disease research and provide evidence for the assessment of ethical questions related to study participation, not least when considering study burden and the return of research results.
