Data collection arrangements
All tissues will be stored in located -80 Freezers and histology samples in a locked laboratories within the Department, only used for university research. The laboratory room numbers are: 1-625, 1-636, 1-634, 1-623, 1-624.
Collection of samples and consent will be conducted by a study specific midwife or one the investigators.
Research programme
Research into pregnancy complications is a very specialised field, therefore the research community is relatively limited in size. Our potential contribution to an established community led Global Pregnancy Collaboration (called CoLab) could significantly impact on improving the health of women and their infants by facilitating research addressing adverse pregnancy outcomes.
