Research summary
This study aims to investigate tidal breathing parameters and patterns with SLP in patients who have been diagnosed with dysfunctional breathing. A correlation between the SLP data and patient's subjective measure of breathlessness will be scrutinised. The role of SLP in monitoring the patient's treatment progression will be explored.
Lay summary of study results: Not applicable - Subject recruitment never started (hence study start date and end date listed as the same date in earlier section).
Study terminated due to the prolonged timeline since initial approval (without starting) and the number of significant changes to the management and structure of the study deemed appropriate for continuation. Therefore, there are no results to report.
The relevant changes will be made to the study and submitted under a new separate IRAS submission (IRAS ID: 373045) in the near future.
