Research summary
In this proposed study the my mhealth team will work with NHS healthcare professionals to explore how the use of the my mhealth digital application ‘MyAsthma’ could support patients with Asthma. The study aims to explore how patients interact with the app and whether its use can improve the ability to self-manage their condition. Potential outcomes of the study are to to establish appropriate and active decision making by patients, and the impact of this on the NHS resources and associated costs of routine care.
