  • Data collection arrangements

Data to be stored within the database can be divided into 3 main categories: 1) anonymised health data derived from electronic health records; 2) RNA sequencing (transcriptomic) information, and 3) histopathology data. Participants have been selected based on presence of meeting eligibility criteria, AND the presence of tissue samples within Biorepositories throughout Scotland. We have re-cut these samples to obtain sequence and histopathology information from the preserved tissue, and are requesting associated anonymised clinical data. All of these, including tissue images, will be contained within a central data commons hosted at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
