Research summary
The aim of this study is to identify whether there is an association between spring ligament laxity and the development of achilles tendinopathy. Spring ligament laxity will be assessed in patients with achilles tendinopathy by measuring the degree of lateral translation, a painless procedure. The data will then be analysed to assess if there is an association between spring ligament laxity and the development of achilles tendinopathy.
