Research summary
We would like to evaluate the impact of a nationally available training course for parents and carers, Elklan Let's Talk for Under Fives (LTU5). LTU5 aims to increase parent / carer knowledge and skills in supporting children's speech and language development, and leads to a Level 1 qualification.
We would like to learn more from parents and carers about their views and experiences of the course, what they learn and how they use this as a platform for further personal development. We would also like to learn more about the impact of the training course on children's language and communication skills, and on the way that parents and carers support their child's learning at home.REC name
