Research summary
We plan to evaluate the use of new software that uses touch screens to enable nurses and doctors to succinctly and accurately perform an initial clinical assessment and triage of undifferentiated patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) in a UK hospital. The study would be a prospective observational study with data collected in parallel to the method currently used by the ED for initial clinical assessment.
