Research summary
Neurostimulation of the sacral nerves with wires using an implantable neurostimulation device is a standard treatment for some chronic incontinence conditions in this hospital and a treatment for which you have already been selected. In this study we wish to make some nerve recordings from the wires while they are in place close to your sacral nerves. We want to examine the electrical signals in the nerves and if these are changed with neurostimulation.
