Research summary
E-cigarettes are becoming popular devices in the UK, and this research sets out to look at the attitudes and views of smokers on their use as a form of tobacco smoking replacement. 10 - 15 participants will be recruited from a GP based in Barnet. Each participant will take part in a semi-structured interview that includes a vignette. Interviews will be recorded and transcribed, and all data will be analysed using the thematic framework approach. Data collection will take an iterative form, whereby the first interview will help structure future interviews.
