  • Data collection arrangements

    Clinicians from around Europe will enrol patients in the SPACE registry. The data will include details of their diagnosis, comorbid illnesses, respiratory investigations and treatments. The data will be used to improve the management of severe asthma in Paediatrics and to support the development of new treatments.\n\nData collection will be prospective and will include annual follow-up for the duration of the study. Data will be entered using a secure web-based system.

    The registry is a collaboration between SPACE (Severe Paediatric Asthma Collaborative in Europe) and the European Respiratory Society. This registry is central to raising awareness of severe paediatric asthma and to improving the management of the disease around Europe.
