  The repository is for serum and plasma samples only so does not involve material covered by the HTA. Samples will be stored in -80 degrees centigrade freezers in locked freezer rooms in anonymised form ie they will have been allocated a study code.

  The purpose of the repository is to aid research into the specific cluster of rare diseases for which patients attend the Severe Insulin Resistance Clinic in Cambridge only.
