  Patients with hypothyroidism tend to be cold intolerant and patients with hyperthyroidism tend to be heat intolerant. It is not known whether this leads to seasonal variation in the months the condition is diagnosed. We want to establish if there is seasonal variation in the diagnosis of these conditions amongst the patients of Hull and East Yorkshire.
