Research summary
RETURN is a Phase II feasibility randomised controlled trial of The Rewind Technique, a novel treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, with a nested process evaluation. The study aims to determine if The Rewind Technique is superior to a delayed treatment control condition in the treatment of people with PTSD. In addition to determining the likely efficacy of The Rewind Technique, quantitative and qualitative questionnaires will be employed to explore factors associated with adherence and outcome with a view to informing the indication for, feasibility and design of a Phase III effectiveness study.
