• Data collection arrangements

  In general the tissues will be collected on demand for consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotech companies and non-commercial research facilities. Tissue Solutions will act as a collection site and as the tissue bank (collection of blood, urine, faeces and other body fluids and hair) and project manage the collection with the aid of other non NHS collection sites (which all have private GPs, Dermatologists, Nurses and Phlebotomists). Volunteer donors will provide Informed consent prior to donation of the tissue/sample. The tissues/samples will be sent, in most cases, immediately to the research companies, either in the UK, or outside the UK under the rules pertinent to that Authority.
