Research summary
This is a feasibility study to assess the viability of a new musical instrument designed for use by neurological patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The new instrument will be designed by engineers at Queen Mary University of London, in collaboration with clinicians at Chelsea and Westminster, with the ultimate goal of providing an accessible and enjoyable route to upper limb rehabilitation following stroke. In this feasibility study we will be measuring patients' and clinicians' impressions of early prototypes through interviews and audio-visual recording.
