• Data collection arrangements

  Consented DNA, blood, serum and urine samples (collected between 2006 and 2011) and phenotype and genotype data are being stored in Scottish university laboratories. No further collection is planned at present.

• Research programme

  The resources are available to academic researchers and commercial organisations internationally for answering relevant research questions subject to the governance of the Generation Scotland Access Committee. Over 200 collaboration proposals have been received, resulting in over 30 scientific publications with many more under way.
