• Research summary

  In this study we will observe the effect of using FreeStyle Libre Glucose Monitoring Systems on HbA1c levels over at least 3 months in a real-world setting.
  We’ll use data from medical records of patients with type 2 diabetes on a pre-mixed insulin therapy who have used a glucose monitoring system from the FreeStyle Libre family at least 3 months prior to inclusion in the study.

  For each medical record included, the study will collect HbA1c levels prior to starting FreeStyle Libre and 3 to 6 months after initiating its use. Additionally limited demographic and medical information that includes age, sex, weight, height, blood pressure, duration of insulin use, medications, and concomitant disease(s) will be collected.

  The study will be conducted across minimum of 2 sites in the UK.
