  • Research summary

The overall aim of this project is to gain an insight into how recurrent urinary tract infections (rUTIs) can affect the day-to-day life of patients, and how their lifestyle affects the disease.
This is important as there is a lack of data on the impact of rUTI on all aspects of women’s lives, including their sexual function. With increasing rates of antibiotic resistance, non-antibiotic prevention strategies are becoming increasingly important.
