    The aim of this study is to explore the quality of life of elderly patients who have undergone pancreatic resections. A qualitative approach will be used which will enable the exploration of this complex multifaceted experience. A phenomenogical line of enquiry is to be used in the form of unstructured patient interviews which should elicit an in-depth and individualised study of quality of life and as such the lived experience of these patients.
