• Research summary

  The project aims to assess the relationship between quality of life and obesity in a local group of obese adolescents (13-18 years). This will be assessed using three questionnaires. These questionnaires will be handed out to patients when they attend their obesity clinic appointment at Southampton General Hospital, or when attending the paediatric day ward for clinical investigations. Also, participants will be asked about other variables including other chronic conditions, postcode and school attendance to see whether these factors also affect quality of life in obese adolescents.
