Research summary
Infection in the blood with some bacteria is a common cause of serious illness and may affect some people more than others. People Who Inject Drugs (PWID) have higher rates of 2 of these infections and we would like to see if there are differences between PWID and non PWID in terms of the outcome and longer term effects on health and wellbeing.
