    Patients recruited in to the main ProMOTE study at the Royal Devon and Exter Hospital will be invited to take part in this sub study. The purpose will be to assess microvascular and cognitive function. Participants who agree to take part will be consented, have measurements of the blood flow on the skin of thier foot, complete a cognitive assessment (questionnaire - Addenbrookes Cognitive Examination III), asked to provide a urine sample to measure Albumin Creatinine Ratio, obtain blood samples to measure HbA1c, renal function, glucose, C-reactive Protien. Participants will also be asked to donate the blood sample for future analysis.
