• Research summary

  The aim of this study is to determine the rate at which patients develop adenomas during colonoscopy surveillance and which patients are more likely to develop cancer. It will allow us to assess whether the number, size, location and the histology of adenomas is related to the probability of recurrent advanced lesions.

  The same fields will be used to retrospectively and prospectively collect patient data that has already been recorded on our endoscopy reporting system.

  We hope to risk stratify patients depending on the outcomes of subsequent surveillance endoscopies.
